Susan Dugard

After working as an oncology nurse for several years in 2008 Susan discovered pottery. Taking classes with a local potter  she was hooked on clay. For a few years this was wonderful stress reliever as she totally lost herself in learning to create wonderful pots. Deciding to get more serious about being a potter she took a leave of absence from her position and attended Haliburton School of the Arts for the intensive ceramic program. She has a studio on her rural farm just outside Durham Ontario.  Open by chance or appointment, contact her at not throwing pots she spends time with her husband Dan and their golden doodle Lucy.
