I began exhibiting my artwork in the Cambridge area in the mid 1970’s. I studied art at he University of Guelph from 1978 – 1981 achieving B.A. in Fine Art. I was a member of the York Artists Guild and exhibited with them in the mid 1980’s. I taught art at the middle school level as part of my 25-year teaching career. During my years of teaching I exhibited regularly at the Double Door Studios and Gallery in Anten Mills and with other galleries. Since retiring in 2014 I have exhibited regularly and taught art through my business Wildwood Art Adventures. Painting in acrylic or oil, my current work is a focus on the nude human form, portraits, and expressive bird paintings.
