Group and Private Art Lessons since 2001 teaching watercolours and other mediums to all age groups (10 to adult)
Design and present exciting lessons that actively engage students while educating on proper artistic methodologies and various technical aspects. Provide students with opportunity to reach their fullest potential through creative experiences, and cognitive strategies.
Developed and implement various lesson plans utilizing age appropriate material and focusing on relative topics such as bird life, flora, architecture, waterfalls, landscapes, etc…
Creation of over 100 original lesson plans enabling students to gain knowledge in the use of watercolour techniques incorporating mix media using wax, pen and ink, acrylics and photography.
Affiliations and Experience
Artist in residence with Cunard Cruise Lines and taught Watercolour Workshops on the Transatlantic Crossing by Queen Mary 2 in 2015 and with Azamara-Journey cruise line (Panama Canal crossing) Jan 3, 2016 to Jan 13, 2016.
Her paintings on-line is represented by Fine Art America. Original paintings for sale are at the Southampton Art Gallery, Southampton, Ontario and Santa Fe Gallery, Owen Sound, Ontario.
In 2011, she began teaching many aspects of watercolours with the Southampton Art School, Southampton, Ontario.
In May 2013 she taught watercolour workshops at the Coast to Coast Art Convention in Mississauga, Ontario and again in August 2014 with this same organization in London, Ontario.
Proud founding member of the Saugeen Artist (community art group) which began in 2006. Past and present executive positions held by Bev. The group exhibits throughout the year in community events and rent store frontage every November and December.
