After working as an oncology nurse for several years in 2008 Susan discovered pottery. Taking classes with a local potter she was hooked on clay. For a few years this was wonderful stress reliever as she totally lost herself in learning to create wonderful pots. Deciding to get more serious about being a potter she took a leave of absence from her position and attended Haliburton School of the Arts for the intensive ceramic program. She has a studio on her rural farm just outside Durham Ontario. Open by chance or appointment, contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.When not throwing pots she spends time with her husband Dan and their golden doodle Lucy.
